Our First meet is coming up!
Hello Stingray families!
Our first meet is coming up quickly and we are hosting it at the Woodridge Pool.
This Monday 6/6 is our first meet! Go Stingrays!
Registration is now open on the website - as a reminder, this year your swimmer is by DEFAULT declared that they ARE SWIMMING. If your swimmer is not going to be available for the meet, you MUST declare them not eligible. Here is the link for the page for declarations: https://woodridge.swimtopia.com/swim_meets
Here is what to expect:
The meet starts at 6pm.
Warm up for our swimmers is from 5:30-6pm, the visiting team will start their warm ups at 5:00.
We will need volunteers to help us set up the pool area starting at 3:30pm.
We will also need timers and age group parents to help get kids in line and ready for when it is their turn to get in the water.
Andrea will be going around the next few practices to get volunteers signed up.The registration page does have info on what role you elected to volunteer for when you signed up your swimmer, but we all know things change and we want to have everything covered as best we can.
We have a message out to the vendor asking when our suits will be in. We are also waiting to hear back on our team tee shirts - hopefully those will be in by the end of the week! We will keep you posted once on both once we hear back.
We do have concessions at our meet - lots of snacks and goodies for everyone. We accept cash and now credit cards!
Also - Does anyone have a large popcorn machine we could borrow for concessions? One that makes large batches at a time?

Our home meet on 6/20/22 has been cancelled with Misty Oaks.
But...we were able to add a meet with Braun Station on 6/27/22. Braun Station will be hosting this event.
All information will be posted on the website soon. As always, don't hesitate to check the website for details. We are also here to answer any questions you may have.
